Single Malt Whisky Reviews from Australia

Another one from my Shot Bar Zoetrope visits.

Notes

Eye: Amber

Nose: Very meaty, with a sweet jam note underneath.

Palate: More smoked meat but with some other fruit in there too. I get some berries and some kind of citrus. Quite hot and peppery.

Finish: This was one hot whisky. Very good with some water on the side. Finish is incredibly long with quite a hit of smoke. Won't forget this in a hurry.

A unique take on Hanyu by finishing in a rum cask. I must say I quite liked the results, tasted well beyond its years.
