Single Malt Whisky Reviews from Australia

Had this at 1806 in Melbourne.

Notes

Eye: Blonde

Nose: Quite rough, very green. Almost like they shook the bottle before pouring (they didn't). Woodland spices (?). Strange beast on the nose but I do like my whisky bold and rough.

Palate: Totally different to the nose. Soft and mellow with a salty salty sweet explosion.

Finish: Jelly babies and malt ride this one out.

Smells like the ABV it is but really doesn't taste it. Incredibly smooth and sweet malt. Absolutely fantastic whisky
