Bruichladdich Centenary 1965 15yr Whisky Review
Very special bottling here from Bruichladdich, imported to Italy by Moon Import. Was lucky enough to get a sample.
Notes
Eye: Red
Nose: Strawberry, wood varnish, dried mango, fine sherry wood. Hints of maritime elements, little bit of peat but it's quite shy.
Palate: Floral, Chalk, Rosehip, very sweet, varnish, wood polish, wax, peat is far less shy now.
Finish: Long and warm, sweet, maritime elements come through stronger on the outset as the peat dies off, fantastic sherry cask, rosewater hints, dried tropical fruits, wax and floral notes on the outset..

Could be the best whisky I have ever tried... if only I could get a bottle. Few around but those are at 40% and not the Moon Import.
One of those whiskies I will remember. Great track to go with this one, enjoy.
